Jonathan Owen Holm, 69

Jonathan Owen Holm died peacefully at home in Fosston MN surrounded by his family, January 20th.  He was born in TRF MN in Aug of 1955 to Robert & Gloria Holm.  Jonathan attended most of his school days in Fosston, MN, and graduated class of 1973.  Jon moved to MPLS after graduation and worked several jobs while attending night college.  Jon loved fishing, hunting, and outdoor life.  Jon met his wife of 42 years while in Minneapolis.  Jon and Karla were married and lived in Rockford, MN for 10 years where they had 4 children.  Jon returned to his hometown of Fosston in 1992 where he started and worked with Lenes Sand-n-Gravel for 23+ years.  Together Jon and Karla loving raised 4 children; Jennifer Holm of Fosston MN, Jessica Holm of TRF MN, Julia Holm of Fosston MN, and Jonathan Holm of New York Mills, MN.   

Jon’s four children blessed his life with 9 grand children who all visited him often, Maya, Charlotte, Natalie, Jayden, Owen, June, Rosie, Carter & Huxley.  

Jon was preceded in death by his father: Robert Earl Holm, Mother: Gloria Spilde Holm, brother Robert Louis Holm, and is survived by his wife Karla, loved stepmother Audrey Holm, sister Constance Cross, brother Dana Holm, step brothers and sister Mike, Kent, Juanita, Lynn Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
