NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS C.P. 35-25-600 AGGREGATE PRODUCTION - MINING & STOCKPILING

Bids Close at 3:00 P.M. on March 28, 2025

Sealed bids will be received until 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Kittson County Highway Department, 401 2nd Street SW, Hallock, Minnesota on behalf of the County Commissioners of Kittson County for the purpose ofletting the contract for the following project:

County Project No. 35-25-600, Aggregate Production - Mining & Stockpiling

Scope of the Project:

Hourly equipment rates for each type of equipment to strip/grub, mine, and stockpile all raw materials needed to produce Class 5 Aggregate. The area to be mined will have bigger trees logged off prior to the approved start date. The raw material will need to be stockpiled in the Northeast comer of the property. The contractor will provide all equipment needed to complete this task. Work will be able to start on this pit on August 18, 2025, and continue until the budgeted dollar amount is hit or when the seasonal weather shuts things down.

Proposal forms with specifications may be obtained at the Kittson County Highway Department, 401 St. SW, Hallock, Minnesota 56728 (218-843-2686). Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond made payable to Kittson County in the sum not less than five ( 5%) percent of the amount bid.

The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities therein and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.
