0bituary/Eugene Balluff 92

Beloved Son, Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, and Friend passed away on February 16, 2025. Throughout Gene’s 92 years, he demonstrated love, humor, and resilience. His family cherished the early years when we all lived together, friends competed with him to outwit the other, and Dept. of Transportation colleagues and laundromat business customers respected him. Gene engaged people in whistling, laughing, solving puzzles, sports, and he will be deeply missed. He was cared for by a devoted staff at the Broen Home, Fergus Falls, and a doctor he trusted. 

Survived by close nieces and nephews Mark, Dan, Rebecca (Dean) Jantz, Fr. Tom, Mary (Mike) Peltier; and grand-nieces and nephews Jordan, Cheyenne (Reece Fleming), Duke (Kelsey Prescott), and Jake and Dylan Peltier. 

Preceded in passing by Mary, Bill, and Rick Greteman, John and Florence Balluff, and his many so very precious friends and relatives. 

Ceremony to be set in the Spring 2025, at St. Mary Cemetery, Beardsley, MN. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to your favorite charity.
