NW RIC Board members present included Holly Burkel, Carol Rhen, Tera Nordby, Mark Knutson and Matt Nordin. Also, present Special Education Director Kim Johnson, Superintendent Kevin Riche, Assistant Director Becky Levenhagen and School Psychologist Kathleen Kallis.

Chairperson Nordin called the NW RIC Board Meeting to order.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the October 3, 2022 regular business meeting. Moved by Nordby, seconded by Rhen. Motion Carried.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the November board bills in the amount of $42,309.90 and December board bills in the amount of $37,301.04. Moved by Nordby, seconded by Rhen. Motion Carried.

The following informational items were presented by Special Education Director: December 1 Child Count, connected Professional Development, ECSE Staffing (posted to hire full time teacher), Cash Flow, Cash Expenditures and the 2023 Board Delegates Meeting/Audit Schedule. Need to add alternate from each district to Meeting/Audit Schedule.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the agenda as presented. Moved by Burkel, seconded by Rhen. Motion Carried.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the resignation of Elizabeth Christinson effective December 1, 2022. Moved by Nordin, seconded by Nordby. Motion Carried.

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the FY 2022-23 Revenue Budget. Moved by Rhen, seconded by Burkel. Motion Carried

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the Audit for Year Ending June 30, 2022 as presented by Tracee Bruggeman from Brady, Martz and Associates. Moved by Nordby, seconded by Nordin. Motion Carried.

Motion was made by Burkel to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Knutson. Motion Carried. Meeting adjourned.

The next regular NW RIC Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 6, 2023, at 6:00 PM.
