NOTICE OF HEARING ON THE

REDETERMINATION OF BENEFITS OF ROSEAU COUNTY DITCH #4

IN ROSEAU & MARSHALL COUNTIES, MINNESOTA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 29, 2024, at 11:00 o’clock a.m. in the Two Rivers Watershed District Office of the Kittson County Courthouse in Hallock, Minnesota, a public hearing will be held in regard to a pending action of the Board of Managers of the Two Rivers Watershed District regarding the redetermination of benefits of Roseau County Ditch #4 located in Roseau County, Minnesota.

That said proceeding considers the redetermination of the benefitted area of the Roseau County Ditch #4 within parts of Lind, Dewey & Deer Townships in Roseau County, MN and East Park Township in Marshall County, MN. The purpose of the project is to update ditch benefit and damage amounts to reflect reasonable present-day land values and drainage areas.

The Viewer’s report has been filed with the Board of Managers. Said report is available for inspection at the office of the Two Rivers Watershed Di trict at 410 South 5th Street, Suite 112 in Hallock, Minnesota.

All parties interested in the proposed improvement or who are affected by said improvement are invited to appear before the Board of Managers at such time and place and present their objections, if any, why an Order should not be made by the Board of Managers of the Two Rivers Watershed District to redetermine benefits and damages of the Roseau County Ditch #4, located in Roseau & Marshall Counties, Minnesota.

The following is a general list of lands that appear to be affected by these proceedings: ROSEAU COUNTY – All or part of sections 18 AND 19 of Deer Township; All or parts of sections 1 through 10, 15 through23, 26 through 29, and 32 through 36 of Lind Township; All or parts of sections 28, 29, and 31 through 34 of Dewey Township.

MARSHALL COUNTY – All or part of sections 1, 2, 3, & 4 of East Park Township
