Adam John Gustafson, 52

Adam John Gustafson was born on December 29, 1971, in Fridley, MN. to Harlynn and Dixie (Payne). He attended school in Spring Lake Park school district and following school he worked construction with 2 of his brothers. He then moved to Dickinson, ND where he worked as a self-employed contractor for many years. He lived and worked in South Heart, ND for a period of time and Fallon, MT for roughly 5 years before moving to Esmond, ND where he went home with Jesus on March 3, 2024, at the age of 52. As he passed into the loving arms of the Lord at his home he was surrounded by his soul mate Shelby Cote, his mother Dixie, 4 siblings Paul, Priscilla, Aaron, and Seth, as well as two of the best friends a person could ever have, Al & Janette.

Adam was always doing whatever he could to help anyone who needed it and spreading the good word of the Lord Jesus. He enjoyed reading the bible and participating in bible study. He also enjoyed working on houses and just helping people in need.

He is survived by his soul mate Shelby Cote of Esmond, ND, children Miranda (Kale) Rorvik of Gladstone, ND, Cory Gustafson and Stepson Justin Palme both of Dickinson, ND, mother Dixie Gustafson of Karlstad, MN., father Harlynn Gustafson of Moorhead, MN, brothers Paul (Amy) of Blaine, MN, Aaron (Lisa) of Isanti, MN, and Seth Gustafson of Brooklyn Center, MN, his sister Priscilla (David) Warren of Karlstad, MN, his nieces and nephews, Andy (Melissa), Annika, Quinn, Cody, Travis, Lucas, Halle Gustafson, Hailey (Timmy) Siler, and Leelai Togbah, along with many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Karlstad Baptist Church in Karlstad, MN. with Pastor John Feterhoff presiding.

Visitation was held one hour prior to services at the church.

Interment services were held at the Karlstad city cemetery following services.

Fellowship was held at the church following interment services.
