1. Call to Order at 4:00 p.m.

ADMINISTRATION: Supt. Barb Muckenhirn, Principal Dan Carpenter

2. Roll Call

3. Approval of Agenda

Motion by SueAnn Wahl seconded by Brandon Ignaszewski to approve the agenda of the March 22, 2024 Special Board Meeting as presented.

4. Approve Budget Reductions

Board Member Brandon Ignaszewski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:

WHEREAS the School Board of Independent District No. 2683, adopted a resolution on January 22nd, 2024 directing the Administration to make recommendations regarding the reduction and/or discontinuance of programs and positions, and

WHEREAS, said recommendations have been received and considered by the School Board,

BE IT RESOLVED, by the School Board in Independent District No. 2683, as follows:

That the following programs and positions, or portions thereof, be discontinued:

1. .50 Science Instruction

2. .50 Family and Consumer Science Instruction

3. .50 Spanish Instruction

4. .50 Technology Instruction

5. 1.0 Art Instruction

6. 1.0 Paraprofessional Support

7. 1.0 Paraprofessional Support

The motion for the adoption of the preceding resolution was duly seconded by Joe Melby and up vote being taken thereon,

The following voted in favor thereof,

Allison Harder, Brandon Ignaszewski, Peter Kern, Brandon Kuznia, Joseph Melby, Kurt Stenberg, SueAnn Wahl – All in Favor.

The following voted against the same: none

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted on March 22, 2024.

5. Adjournment

Motion by Brandon Ignaszewski, second by SueAnn Wahl to ADJOURN
