The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Burkel at 6:30 PM and a quorum was determined. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Board members present were Burkel, Caldwell, Duray, Hanson, Koland, Oliver and Sollund, plus Superintendent Pace and Principal Zick.

We Are Proud… of our staff for being flexible and supportive of each other when many obstacles arise.

of Tri County FCCLA members as well as Mrs. Klegstad’s social classes for collaborating to teach about the history of 9/11. FCCLA created a visual display that was hung in the hallway. Mrs. Klegstad used the display as part of her lessons on the day. She had her students write thank you postcards to service members. FCCLA will send these postcards to Operation Gratitude where they will then be distributed.

of the high school cabinetry and welding class for creating a scoreboard stand that could be used for the junior high football games so people could easily see the game information.

Jace Pietruszewski, Ryder Blazejewski, Aaron Slaathaug, Gavin Duray, Jaxon Klegstad, and Dawson Walz worked on this project.

Member Oliver moved and member Duray seconded to approve the agenda as amended. UC

Recommend addition of following to Agenda:

6. g. Hire non certified position

Member Duray moved and member Hanson seconded to approve the minutes of the Aug. 17, 2022 Regular Meeting. UC

Member Oliver moved and member Burkel seconded to authorize payment for claims in the following funds. UC

a. Motion by board member Caldwell and seconded by Hanson to approve the regular December 19, 2022 school board meeting beginning at 6:30 PM as the Truth in Taxation Hearing to include School Taxes Payable in 2023. UC

b. Member Sollund moved and member Duray seconded to approve the Preliminary 2022 Payable 2023 levy at MAXIMUM. UC

c. Member Koland moved and member Caldwell seconded the motion to approve Memorandum of Understanding with Northwest Community Action Inc. Head Start. UC

d. Member Oliver moved and member Sollund seconded to approve the overnight Volleyball Tourney trip, Parker Prairie, MN September 22-23. UC

e. Member Koland moved and member Burkel seconded to approve new Food Service Lead Job description and recommendation of 7.5 hour position food service. UC

f. Member Caldwell moved and member Duray seconded to approve non certified hire Alexis Efta. UC
g. Member Hanson moved and member Caldwell seconded the to approve the non certified hire Mercedes Snare. UC
h. Member Hanson moved and member Burkel seconded to approve Joint Purchasing Agreement Tri-County ISD 2358 and Anoka Hennepin School District. UC

i. Member Caldwell moved and member Koland seconded to approve the Joint Powers Agreement with Greenbush Middle River School District. UC

Principal Report, Close Up Update, and Superintendent Report were given.

Next board meeting is scheduled for Oct. 19, 2022, 6:30 PM, Tri County School Library.

Member Oliver moved and member Duray seconded to adjourn. UC
